Letters From The Edge Of Blogspace: Of Days

Published October 3, 2015 by Christine

Sometimes, when I’m on my own,
I like to sit here
Of days I could have had,
Of days I would have had.
Of days full of joy,
Of days full of sorrow.
Of days full of play,
Of days of tomorrow.
Of days that held promise.
Of days that held praise.
Of days of no worry,
Of days of no care.
But the days that I have,
Are full of these dreams
And I just have to know
What all of it means.
The changes I’ve gone through
The changes I’ve wrought
Are all of I dreamed of
And all that I thought.
Nothing I say
And nothing I do
Can change what I feel
And what I’ve gone through.
The days that I have
The days that I will
Are days that I treasure
And days I will fill.
