Well, I’ve gone and done it. I’ve sent off my request for an appointment at CHX for my second surgical referral. Despite having yet to lose the required weight, I thought it would be a good idea to get a little ahead of the game since it takes so long for CHX to send the appointments out. I will continue dieting but, going on past performance, I’ll be little more than a skeleton by the time I recieve the appointment. I have to admit its difficult. I can diet but I’m having trouble giving up the sugar, one of the biggest contributors to my weight. Also, exercise is a bit of a problem. I can do static ones but, with work and a damaged knee, any active exercises like running, cycling etc are currently out of the question. Work keeps me busy and mobile and walking isn’t a problem so that’s ok.
Still, I’ll muddle through and, hopefully shift the weight before my appointment date.
Although its annoying giving up the chocolate. I hate ignoring friends.
