Letters From The Edge Of Blogspace: Quiet Life

Published May 29, 2013 by Christine

Back to choosing song titles as blog titles, this one from the 80’s, by Japan, although this one describes things perfectly. It has been a quiet life since the heady days of the wedding. About the most exciting thing that has happened is finding out how expensive Waitrose really is, compared to our usual shopping haunts of Asda and Tesco’s, and it is expensive, believe me. The only reason we went shopping there was to spend the John Lewis/Waitrose vouchers that we received as a wedding gift. In fact they came in very handy at a time when a slight financial hiccup occurred, and since my new job doesn’t start until 1st July, every penny comes in handy.

And my hormone dose has been doubled, as of next week.

So, to anyone who actually reads this drivel that I write, my apologies for the long delay in posts but, it’s very hard to find something to write about on a personal level when bugger all is actually happening. Although, in my situation, a quiet life is a good thing.
