This will be quite a short entry as I am typing on a phone keyboard which is not easy. We had a little surprise a few weeks ago in that Tracey’s sister invited us down to Cornwall for a week in a caravan, and said she would pay for it. How could we refuse? So here we are. Spent the first full day or two driving around the places I used to go as a kid. Much of my childhood summers were spent in either Plymouth or Redruth, which is just a couple of miles down the road from where we are now. I took Tracey up to Cairn Brea, which used climb to as a kid. I decided to drive this time as I probably wouldn’t have made it up the hill this time. The view was breathtaking, and as good as I remember it. We also had a drive around Redruth which has changed a great deal over the years. Which is to be expected. The site we are staying on is right on the coast, literally a stones throw from the beach. The caravan is clean, tidy and comes with all the cutlery and crockery you could need. The site staff are friendly and there is plenty for the kids to do, including evening shows and disco’s. We spent most of the day chilling today and are off to Poldark Mine tomorrow. Last time I was there I was about 10. More tomorrow.
